Garforth were beaten by Newton Aycliffe for the second time in a month, thanks to two second half goals by Aaron Brown at a blustery Bannister Prentice Stadium.

Garforth threatened first through Sam Cable, but the striker's excellent run and finish landed inches wide. Aycliffe were a constant threat from set pieces in a goalless first half.

With the wind at their backs Brown put the visitors into the lead with a deft lob on 56 minutes.
“The Cliffe” coped better with the difficult conditions and doubled their lead when Brown’s cross drifted in at the back post in the 77th minute.

The away side saw out the game comfortably, to retain their place in the playoff places.
