Our return to NPL football begins at home to Liversedge...

Following our Emirates FA Cup tie at home to Northallerton Town, The Miners will host neighbours Liversedge at the Bannister Prentice Stadium on Saturday 10th August to get the new league season underway (kick-off 3pm). A midweek journey up the A1 to Consett follows on Tuesday 13th August then, after what is currently a free Saturday, there's another clash against a North East side seven days later when we entertain Ashington.

Bank holiday fixtures are a normal part of NPL football, and in the August one there's back to back games; on Saturday 24th August a local derby against our now-nearest rivals Pontefract Collieries away, then on the Monday Carlton Town are the visitors to LS25, a side who seasoned fans will remember for the NCEL promotion battles of the mid-2000s.

The festive period brings a home game against Brighouse Town on Boxing Day followed by a return fixture at Carlton on New Year's Day. The season is currently expected to finish on Saturday 26th April with Ponte Colls at home.

Fixtures are already on the website and can be found here (address details of away venues to follow). Up the Miners!
